Fields
Fields hotel is directly across the road from Doll House bar bar which means they are centrally located in the very heart of Fields Avenue.

The hotel rooms are built facing the street but to minimize heat and noise and to maximize privacy the rooms do not have windows. If this is a problem for guests then it is easily remedied by a visit to the upstairs open air pool and spa area which offers splendid views of all the goings on at Fields Avenue.

The Fields hotel incorporates only 6 rooms which makes it a boutique hotel but all of these rooms are luxuriously appointed and incorporate everything the customer may need.

The rooms are luxurious and at the same time functional, all are tastefully decorated and offer an enticing mixture of comfort and privacy. The rooms are on two floors and above them is the swimming pool and spa area.

Interestingly the entire hotel is color coordinated with an emphasis on blues and greens and floral artwork. This color scheme is offset by an emphasis on stained wood brown on the doorways and cupboards along with earthen color cane chairs. Right from the start an impression of the plush, modern, opulence is conveyed to any visitor.

A lot of thought has gone into the development of this hotel and there are a series of nice little touches which demonstrate this. For example the stairwell leading to the rooms is carpeted as is the hallway outside of the rooms. Another nice little touch is the sculptures in the halls outside each room.

Inside the rooms are not huge but they are certainly spacious enough and tastefully appointed. Best of all the dominating feature of every room is the huge bed which is not only large in size but firm and comfortable. When compiling this report we asked the hotel manageress what size the beds were and she replied, “king size sir, oh no sorry I make a mistake, they are Emperor size sir”. Now I wasn’t to sure what exactly an Emperor sized bed looks like and let me tell you I was in for a surprise.

These beds are huge and can easily fit one western male and several Filipinas. What’s more they have used extremely comfortable mattresses which are not hard but firm and yet giving. For me the bed is an extremely important part of a hotel room and these beds are certainly some of the best I have seen in any hotel in Angeles.

Next to the bed is a large mirror leaving very little to the imagination when indulging in bedroom antics.

These rooms are tastefully designed and offer a nice mix of plush luxury, privacy and functionality. Each room has a huge comfortable bed, spacious cupboards, an in room safe, 24 hour room service, cable television with DVD player, large wooden drawers to keep folded clothes in.

They also have internet access, hot and cold water showers with strong water pressure tasteful decorations, a fully stocked mini bar and decent size refrigerator, efficient split type air-conditioning units and solid cane furniture with a small coffee table and arge spacious bed. The rooms feature a lot of wood which blends in very nicely with the rooms color scheme.

The superior and executive rooms also incorporate a small writing desk and chair. One feature I liked was the rooms lighting.

With the flick of a switch it is possible to illuminate the room using only the ceiling lighting which in turn creates a soft and sensual ambiance.

For those patrons that like the open air, spaciousness and a swimming pool then the upstairs area fits the bill perfectly. This area really is the classic exclusive hideaway. This section features a small swimming pool with a separate spa a sort of sun deck with a long wooden table and chairs which overlook Fields Avenue, two round tables which are perfect for enjoying a meal outside a barbecue and a large flat screen TV. The large flat screen TV perfectly placed so you can frolic in the pool and watch TV at the same time.

This is a great little area and in many ways an undiscovered oasis. The pool is only small but perfect for frolicking around in with the partner of your choice relaxing with a special friend, enjoying a nice meal in an outdoors setting, having a private mini party or just chilling with a cold beer while you watch the goings on in Fields Avenue.

The Fields hotel is an exclusive boutique hotel offering luxurious accommodation with all the modern facilities in a centralized location.
