The Blue Nile Executive Hotel was originally the Genesis House of God then the Tropicana Hotel and then in 2000 it became the Blue Nile Executive Hotel.

When it changed from the Tropicana to an upmarket boutique hotel it was a harbringer of things to come in Angeles. This was the first upmarket boutique hotelin AC and it paved the way for several more in the years to come.

The hotel features a nicely air conditioned lobby which is elegant and at the same time functional.

The lobby is refreshingly cooled by a strong airconditioning system whilst combining elegance and functionality. The ladies at the reception area are friendly and efficient always willing to help with any advice they can give.

The hotel comprises 20 rooms ranging from the standard rooms through to the VIP Jacuzzi rooms. On the first floor there are ten standard rooms. The standard rooms are small but the double beds are very comfortable and each room is lavioushly appointed with a full mini bar comfortable double beds a DVD and Television in each room mirrored cabinets, a large clean shower area with hot and cold water Cable channels extra thick windows to shield out the noise from nearby Fields Avenue and ornate mock Egyptian decorations.

The Deluxe Jacuzzi rooms are more expensive but considerably larger and the Jacuzzis are big enough for at least 3 people. The Jacuzzi rooms feature all the same amenities as the standard rooms.

Room rates:

The hotel room prices are as follows Standard Rooms p2300 VIP Jacuzzi room p3400. There are 16 standard rooms and four Jacuzzi rooms. The hotel is Asian Escapades friendly and will grant a 10% Discount on the room rates for all Asian Escapades members.

The Ambience

This hotel incorporates a pseudo Egyptian theme in line with that of the Blue Nile Bar. From the gold painted chairs in the reception area through to the gold painted ceilings of the hallways leading to the rooms and the mock Egyptian statues. Overall the ambience conveyed is one of sensual luxury perfect for the dedicated mongerer.

The hotel maybe new but the swimming pool is still the same as it was when built in the late 1980's. Many people I know have fond memories of this pool as over the years it has been a favorite spot for a range of activities from quiet relaxtion through to raging swimming pool parties.

On one side of the pool are two plastic tables with chairs and large umbrellas providing shelter from the hot sun. Next to the tables are a series of banana chairs for the sun tan brigade.

On the other side is the old bar from the days of the Tropicana Hotel. Many a tall tale and serious drinking session has been partaken in around this area. There is also an outside restaurant here.

The Blue Nile Executive Hotel is located directly accross the road from Neros Blue Nile and Blue Nile Executive bars which makes it the ultimate in convenience if you are seeking a beautiful companion to share your room with.

The popular Molly Malones serves as the inhouse restaurant for hotel patrons and you can normally find locals and hotel guests mingling together here enjoying some delicious food.

Best of all it is Asian Escapades friendly and they will give a 10% discount on the room rate upon presentation of your Asian Escapades membership card.
